Cross Plains Baseball is an independent summer league that travels to local communities for games throughout the season. Our typical season runs from March through July, depending on the age group.
Our goal is to field teams at every age level — 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, and 15–18U. These are competitive leagues, and playing time is earned through commitment and skill development year-round.
If we have a large number of players, we do our best to avoid cuts by forming additional teams — provided we have enough coaches and field space. Each year, we typically have 100–120 players participating in the program.
Registration opens December 1st each year, and we encourage players to sign up early to ensure placement on a team. All registrations must be completed through our website: www.crossplainsbaseball.com.
We also recommend that players visit the Drills section of our website to find helpful exercises and tips for improving their skills throughout the year.
Each player’s uniform — pants, jersey, hat, and belt — is included in the annual fee. Players are responsible for maroon socks. Because uniforms must be ordered well before the season begins, registering early helps ensure your uniform arrives on time.
